HSC Sampler
Clinker Sampling on Deep Pan Conveyor (DPC) - Elephant Trunk Type
Overview
The HSC Sampler (Elephant Trunk Type) extracts representative samples of hot clinker directly from Deep Pan Conveyor (DPC) systems, enabling immediate verification of kiln performance and clinker quality. This stage involves maximum temperature, high abrasion, and continuous flow.
Process Role
The DPC stage is the first point where clinker leaves the kiln system and enters material handling equipment. Without sampling at this stage, plants lose real-time visibility into kiln output, delaying corrective action.
Engineering Principle
Pivoting full-stream interception using an "elephant trunk" cutter mechanism. The controlled swing motion passes through the clinker stream for full stream interception during each sampling cycle.
Core Engineering Features
Thermal Shock-Resistant Construction
Components designed to withstand rapid temperature variations without structural degradation.
Abrasion-Resistant Sampling Components
Wear-resistant materials ensure long service life under continuous exposure to hot clinker.
Continuous-Duty Operation
Engineered for uninterrupted operation in high-capacity clinker handling systems.
Pivoting Cutter Mechanism
Swing-arm design enables full stream interception while maintaining mechanical stability.
