Scoop Sampler
Free-Falling Stream Sampling for High-Capacity Transfer Points
Overview
Scoop Samplers (HSC Sampler) are engineered to extract representative samples from free-falling material streams, ensuring accurate characterization under high-capacity process conditions. Designed for robust, high-reliability systems for continuous operation in demanding transfer point environments.
Process Role
At transfer points where material transitions between systems, sampling must capture the complete stream. Free-falling streams are highly dynamic, high-volume, and often segregated, conventional methods fail to capture the full material stream.
Engineering Principle
Full stream interception in free-fall conditions using a controlled pivoting or swing-arm cutter mechanism that passes through the entire falling material stream.
Core Engineering Features
Pivoting / Swing-Arm Cutter Mechanism
Controlled pivoting or swing-arm motion passes through the falling material stream for complete interception.
Full Stream Interception
The cutter captures the complete material flow during each sampling cycle, eliminating partial sampling.
Abrasion-Resistant Construction
Wear-resistant materials withstand continuous exposure to abrasive bulk solids.
Controlled Sample Collection
Collected material is directed into a sealed and controlled discharge system for further processing.
